Teaching room 8

This morning room 13 went to room 8 teach maths games at room 8.I taught them easy numbers to hard numbers.when I taught them big numbers they got it right.

My maths game was….

plus	minus	improvements
They were listening to us really carefully They were focus at us. They. were doing eye contact.	The game wasn't hard for them. They were quite	by doing small numbers to big numbers. by helping them count without their hands. doing pluses and minuses try more harder next time.

This week I learned how to do my cross country time on a google sheet with James.

We made a game for room 8. Me and my friends game was called Dice games.We played the game before teaching them. Tomorrow we will teach room 8.

We

did fraction monopoly but I didn't win because we keep on going back three spaces by throwing the same number every time.

room 13 is playing fraction monopoly.

Today we did science with sally.I learnt that if you had a bottle with a led and a small hole in the middle of the bottle.If you put paper towel at the bottom and then cotton then put another paper towel on top and put felfie water on top then it will come out clean water from the small hole.

Matariki?

This is my writing about Matariki that I wrote in paragraphs.

What is matariki ?

Matariki is a group of seven stars that are combined together.The matariki is of seven stars that are squished together.Matariki is a maori new year that you celebrate it.

How do celebrate it ?

We can celebrate it by singing songs or you can celebrate it by having a feast with your family.You can celebrate it by stick games and having lots and lots of kai and that means food.

when is it ?

Matariki stars comes up in the middle of june and July.The stars are not there when it is the middle of July.It is there when there is a group of stars come up in the sky.

My leave smells like mint.It is a nice smell.It fills soft and the lines are rugh.It is dirty and rusty.I found it on the ground.It was on the ground for long so I picked it up so it dousin,t die.Then i saw a butterfly it was onrenge and the lines where black.The butterfly was buetyfull.The leave has a gold line in the middle of the leave but the gold line was dirty.
